A 42-year-old female Thai patient had no previous medical history with difficulty walking and swaying 1 year and 4 months before coming to the hospital. Her family history was similar to that of the patient. Physical examination revealed features compatible with cerebellar ataxia. Genetic testing confirmed the diagnosis.
